In a competition titled “Parables Alive” on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Consecrated Life organized by the CRI of Shillong Unit on 22 February 2026, the Novices of Bellefonte emerged as winners in the Singing category. 

Among the many gifted participants, the FMA Novices shone brightly, earning the First Prize in the singing competition with their presentation of the Parable of “The Ten Virgins” (Matthew 25:1–13). Their performance was marked by energy, creativity, and a prayerful spirit that clearly resonated with both the audience and the judges. The win brought immense joy to the group and stood as a beautiful affirmation of their growing confidence and apostolic zeal.

Prior to the concert, there was the celebration of the Holy Eucharist presided over by Most Rev. Victor Lyngdoh, archbishop of Shillong. The choir for the day was led by the community of Auxilium Provincial House Nongthymmai. While the entrance hymn was sung, all consecrated men and women approached the altar in procession bearing lighted candles symbolizing faith, commitment and lifelong consecration to God. Present on the occasion were the candidates from various formation houses who were also the participants at the Parables Alive Concert.
