The Association of Salesian cooperators met for their 41st Annual Provincial Congress at Auxilium Girls School, Agartala – Tripura on 14-15 September 2019. Around 400 participants from the 18 centers took part in the meet; majority of whom had come from the state of Meghalaya.  The theme that guided the congress was “Do whatever He tells you” (Jn. 2:5)

The inaugural function was held in the afternoon of 14 September marked with a flag hoisting in the open and the welcoming ceremony in the spacious and well-decorated auditorium. Each member was donned with a risha a tribal shawl of the Tripuris. A welcome note was given by the host center. Sr. Elizabeth George FMA Provincial of Shillong Province gave her message along with some other speakers. The gathering had a series of group discussion and prayer moments. The concluding day was made solemn with the promise taking of 32 new members to the association. Each of them was given a certificate of membership.
