Tenth Annual Day: ‘Harmony for Communion’

The tenth Annual Day of Auxilium Nandan Nagar was celebrated on the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. The theme chosen for the event was ‘Harmony for Communion’.

It was another red letter day in the annual pages of Auxilium Girls’ School, Agartala. Keeping in mind the theme, the items were cautiously selected and meticulously prepared by every teacher and student. The solemnity of the event was always our aspiration. The pulsating and fantastic celebration began at 04:00 p.m and went on for three hours. Dr. Prafullajit Sinha, Chairperson, Agartala Municipal Council, Tripura had graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Shri Manik Lal Das, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), as the Guest of Honour. In their short message, they both appreciated the theme chosen as a means to promote Harmony and communion particularly in this state where various tribes, castes and creed live together. The event was an occasion to showcase the rich variety of Indian cultures that can live in harmony and communion with each other. The main item, ‘Ma Tuje Salam’ was the apex of the celebration and it had undeniably brought home the message that we wanted to reach everyone. Yes, ‘Harmony for communion’ is a yearning and its possibility is our hands.
