Four Guides from Auxilium Girls’ Higher Secondary School received the Rajya Puraskar award on November 7, 2013 from the Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Krishan Kant Paul at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.

Guiding has personally developed the character, personality, physical strength of an individual. We the Rajya Puraskar Guide of 2013 have personally experience these changes in us. Our motive for service for God, Country and our fellow being have developed since the few years in Guides.

We were fortunate to receive the Rajya Puraskar. To receive this we had to finish the different levels of Guiding, in order to earn the Award. We are proud of what we have achieved and shall continue to pursue in our studies and activities given to us. We thanked Ms. Moureen Kharkongor our leader for her constant guidance and our Principal Sr. Lydia Pala and all our teachers for helping us in one way or the other. We wish that many more girls will join and experience what we had and become smart young people of our Country.
